After an eventful Halloween night, RIPS was told by our spiritual adviser, that she felt a negative presence within RIPS HQ. The negative presence was called out and removed. This orb showed up in pictures shortly afterwards. In paranormal research, it is believed that lit white candles draw out negative energy and filter in positive energy. We so truly believe this and stand behind it 100%.
For those of you unaware, The RIPS hosts a yearly haunting for trick or treater's where RIPS members take on a different form to greet and spook those who dare to visit. Unfortunately, because of circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to host it this year. We plan to be back on track for next year and provide this fun and safe activity once again.
Again The RIPS apologizes for not hosting our regular "Halloween Night" for all of the kids to come here and enjoy and partake in. We are hoping though to be back on the right track for next Halloween 2008. We truly do regret not being able to do this for the Streator community as well as for the other surrounding towns who's parents brought their children.
We hope to also post some of our past Halloween pics here on the site for those of you who do remember this event and did bring your children ...... to enjoy..............................
