TELEPARNORMALPHONE ~ GHOST CALLS??
This gives new meaning to "reach out and touch someone" with this teleparanormalphone. Have any of you seen this contraption as of yet though? The main function of this telephone it that it will detect and record cases of "ghost calls".
So, lets just imagine being able to pick up this devic ......... and dial up" The Other Side." . Sound far-fetched? Not in the eyes of researchers all over the world who are pursuing tech links with the other realms.
Since antiquity, human beings have resisted the idea that the dead are unreachable. Prior to machines, specially trained and gifted people acted as the communication medium, transmitting messages back and forth while entranced.
Ever since the telephone was invented in the 19th century, visionaries have looked for ways to adapt technology to the subtle peculiarities of the invisible realms. Thomas Edison said such a device ought to be made, but if he ever worked on one himself, and he left no surviving notes or plans.
How this devise works here: A telephone in which -aside from auto dialing , answering machine and caller id- an extra aparatus is built into the device. This extra apparatus is an EMF detector -a tool widely used by all of us PI's . Users can detect unusual fluxes of electromagnetic energy through the meter, and if necessary, easily record the receiving voice for later speculation.
Ghost calls, aparently, are calls from a deceased individual to a living individual. The receiver may report the call as being full of interference (static, muffled, etc.), and such reports are claimed to have never been recorded by the phone company. So, if someone receives a call that he or she claims to have been such a circumstance, how can the phenomenon be explained?
Perhaps detecting and preserving these calls will bring he or she one step closer (or further away if one's a skeptic) to an explanation. EVP 'S recorded on a simple tape recorder- and ITC (instrumental transcommunication)- the use of technical devices (telephones, radios, television, computers, fax machines, etc.) to receive as well as record sights and voices of the dead.
Ever since the beginning of time people have been fascinated with individuals who serve as mediums who communicate with the dead. Before the invention of telecommunications -telephones, radios, computers, etc- the means of which people can contact another party (though spiritual) is through a medium, shaman, or witch. The history of the first telecommunications devices records people that believed that, not only can one contact another party, but another world.
Diane Bertolo's channelUntitled comments on the connection between mediumship and modern telecommunications. Frances Dyson's essay mentions the phenomena of disembodied voices through the telephone and, similar to Edison, Alexander Grahm Bell's assistant, Watson experimented with the telephone in the hopes of contacting the dead- "...a substitute of mediumship."
Oh, I would love to get one of these and just experiment with it and see what if anything that it could be capable of........ what I question though here....... WHO would my first call be made too? That would be a tough call literally!!............... Kay

The ship and the bodies of her frozen crew apparently completed the passage after drifting among the pack ice for 13 years. * 1872: The Mary Celeste, perhaps the most historically famous derelict, was found abandoned between Portugal (mainland) and Portugal's Azores archipelago. It was devoid of all crew, but largely intact and under sail, heading toward the Strait of Gibraltar. While Arthur Conan Doyle's story \"J. Habakuk Jephson's Statement\" based on this ship added some strange phenomena to the tale (such as that the tea found in the mess hall was still hot), the fact remained that the last log entry was 11 days prior to the discovery of the ship.[1] * 1921: The Carroll A. Deering, a five-masted cargo schooner, was found stranded on a beach on Diamond Shoals, North Carolina. The ship's final voyage had been the subject of much debate and controversy (see main article), and was investigated by six Departments of the US government, largely because it was one of dozens of ships that sank or went missing within a relatively short period of time. While paranormal explanations have been advanced, the theories of mutiny or piracy are considered much more likely. * 1931: The Baychimo was abandoned in the Arctic Ocean when it became trapped in pack ice and was thought doomed to sink, but remained afloat and was sighted numerous times over the next 38 years without ever being salvaged. * 1933: A lifeboat from the 1906 wreck of the passenger steamship SS Valencia off the southwest coast of Vancouver Island was found floating in the area in remarkably good condition 27 years after the sinking. Its origin or owner could not be determined and it was scuttled in April. * 2006: In August the \"Bel Amica\" (which is one \"L\" short of the modern Italian spelling of \"Good Friend\") was discovered off the coast of Sardinia[3]. The Coast Guard crew that discovered the ship found half eaten Egyptian meals, French maps of North African seas, and a flag of Luxembourg on board. * 2007: A 12-metre catamaran, the Kaz II, was discovered unmanned off the coast of Queensland, northeast Australia in April[4]. The yacht, which had left Airlie Beach on Sunday 15 April, was spotted about 80 nautical miles (150 km) off Townsville, near the outer Great Barrier Reef on the following Wednesday. When boarded on Friday, the engine was running, a laptop was running, the radio and GPS were working and a meal was set to eat, but the three-man crew were not on board. All the sails were up but one was badly shredded, while three life jackets and survival equipment, including an emergency beacon, were found on board. A search for the crew was abandoned on Sunday 22nd as it was considered unlikely that anyone could have survived for that period of time.

It was nice being with family yesterday, but then again so hard to be there and the reality was that this was the first holiday without my brother. It was nice to cry and to also laugh about the memories that we all had for him, as well as the others that have passed on before us too. I even told my sister in law and niece a story about my brother and myself that I literally was laughing so hard about that the tears were streaming down my face in doing or trying to do so.
But, what I did really think though is that I could really handle the fact that this is the first holiday without my brother being present, and I have put on a great act up until now....... it's hard!!!!! And, please I am not blogging this for sympathy purposes here but just to vent and accept the truth...... I DO know for the most part you all do care and are a great bunch of people that I have come to know on here, and for that reasoning alone I am truly grateful.
There has just been so much death and senseless passings that I find it hard to "ignore" for lack of a better terminology here. Although I do realize that they are all in a better place... I GET IT!!! Now, am I happy about that harsh fact or do I accept the final reality though...... I thought I did until it hit me tonight like a ton of bricks. I am suppose to BE the "rock" here and sometimes it's just too hard to do, even though I so try to pull this off in being so.
I know this is all a very normal reaction, but I certainly thought that being a Paranormal Investigator that I would be.... hmmm........ more so "prepared" then.... and be more supportive for others that needed it more then myself here then because of? I then in turn do think at times that I should be more of an example of how to handle death since I do deal with it and The RIPS does on a regular basis in helping others know and understand "who" might be doing unexpected abnormal things within their households or surroundings then.
Then I think back to the days when I worked in the nursing field in the "Medicare wing" and helped people "go into the light" and helped their loved ones left here to watch these poor souls leave this earth find a better understanding about this too. I kept a small notebook, and in the 6 yrs that I did this I kept track of each and every one of them that in a sense I helped or "aided to pass over"...... there were over 600 names in this. I knew though that I was providing a great service to the family members who were there and really were in total shock, and denial also. I know that I helped both the patient and the family members in telling them "if you want to say anything to your loved one, then please do it now and say it for both of your sakes"........ you don't know how many times I was thanked for being so blunt in telling them to do so, after the "fact". I thought of that very notebook here today. ....... and all of those poor souls in their death beds with people holding a constant vigil at their bedside in wait for the final reality.......... their people who stood there numb not quite knowing what to do.
I guess my point here is to not only "vent" and to accept the fact that YES I do communicate with the departed and do love that we are able to which gives me hope that there is an afterlife then for sure.......... BUT......... in the same instance is a reminder to cherish every day as if it were the last for we never know when........ that REALITY will bite us then too.
As the day we are born unto this great earth, we are all dying minute by minute, day by day. Our time on this plane here is very mi-nute and we should all love and respect all of our family members and our friends as well. ...... we never know when our number is up. I wrote years ago on a local tavern bathroom door.......... "Life's a Bitch... then ya Die"......... that is still ON that door and yes that really IS REALITY and yes that does BITE too.....................

I guess we just have to rememebr all the good times, all the laughter , all the smiles, everything good, and hold onto it. So true & what a touching blog you wrote.. I can imagine how you & your family is feeling and i no it's hard especially the first yr... i had lost my dad on valentine's day 5 yrs ago & that's one day i dread every year when it comes around and my family is always dreading when a holiday comes around and i think everybody feels that way in some way shape or form when a love one has passed on cause it's never the same with out them there no matter what...but you have to remain strong for your sake and for the rest of your family cause you no in your heart that's how he would want it..but one good thing he will alway's be with you where every you go no matter what...and yes reality does bite
that's why people should cherish every day if it where there last

I believe in fate, and also believe that we all have the choice which way our destiny can go. Regardless of what choices we do take in life I hope that we all make the best choices for all concerned ........ family, and friends.
So sad when young peoples lives are cut short, and then I start to question God. I think we have all been there more times then we all have ever wanted to be. I know 17 yrs. ago when he took my mom I really had a hard time dealing with the fact that he could take her from US here. Then with my dad also three years ago ........... I found myself questioning my faith in God and all of the WHY'S or the WHAT IF'S .........that go unanswered.
They say or so I have always been taught that God doesn't give you anymore then he feels that you can take...... I do have a problem with that statement though, really I do. Life is so precious and also so short the time we do really have on this plane.... but then also so un-fair in so many ways.
I know that from birth we are all dying everyday a little closer to. I know by dealing with and helping others communicate with their departed loved ones is a tough job but one that is also so rewarding to the people that we have been able to help along the way here.
I composed the HARDEST website page that I have ever had to do....... but in a sense knew that I also had to do this for Tonya......... what a sweetheart this girl really was too. She touched the lives of everyone that she came in contact with be it her friends, us or just any client that she helped with their animals at the clinic in which she and my daughter worked at together.

it is never easy to loose a loved one. we know in our heads sometimes that it is for the best, but, it is hard for our hearts to know. in a way, we are selfish, for they are having the time of their lives out there! it is us, our loss that keeps us messed up. they know no encumberments, no deceit, no pain. they are free. we are not. i am so sorry for those left here without tonya's light. i am happy for tonya though. god/dess bless all. with love, marie

I have just been so dang busy as of late here with The RIPS HQ and really trying to get one house done so that we all can permanently be moved in here. It's hard ..... so HARD! Some days I am not really sure if I am coming or going most times either. Plus I own a full time online store too as well and fall is a very busy time for that, not that I am complaining in anyway though!! I do know that hopefully soon we can all be back to normal and all done with two houses... arrrgghhh........lol.
All with eventually get back to normal here, well my "normal" anyway.....lol. Plus as of late we have also been hit with scheduling ghost investigations from SOOOOOOOO many interested parties.... which is great though!! October is just a very busy month. Maybe since most of us "ghost hunters" do this year round the interest peaks during this month as you all do know..... with everyone!!
Well, I sincerely hope that all is well with each and everyone of you great people!!! I will leave you here with one of my ultimate favorite tunes and favorite groups as well. The song just says it all!!!

There is a picture of Moses "Moe" The RIPS mascot on our "about us" page. Moe came to us one cold October day skin and bones, matted unkempt coat, and his whiskers had been burnt off. Most of his feet pads were also split and bleeding. Needless to say the poor guy was a mess here..... and I really think that he had been really mistreated wherever he had come from.
First thing we did was to take him right to the vets and had all of his shots, was also checked for worms plus we neutered him as well. Now he weighs probably about 12 lbs. and has really turned into being a great devoted pet here....... hence why we have dubbed him our mascot.
I know that animals are more intuned to the things being around us more so then most people. I know that my two little dogs here will bark into thin air, growl down the hallway at "something" and also growl at different closed off doors here.
One night I was sleeping here and Moe was asleep on top of me. He immediately got on all of his haunches and was watching "something" that I wasn't seeing but he in fact was so tuned into watching. This lasted for several minutes as he darted his head back and forth watching......lol. I know I probably should have gotten up with camera in tow here but it's nothing out of the norm here to have "things" happening here though...... very typical in THIS house.....lol.
I just know that we should all pay close attention to the signs and signals that our pets do show us. As they are highly sensitive to the smallest things around us. Perhaps it is their innocence or their extra sensitive hearing that they do possess. Just like younger children do tend to have also.
I know that some children who do talk to and have imaginary friends are communicating with either spirits that are present there or from people out of their past lives. Myself as a child I do remember having "something" here with me....... I also claimed to remember rocking my brother when HE was a baby and he was 15 yrs. older then me when I was born.
I can't wait until my grand daughter gets a little older and more communicative here too. I know that I probably will be examining her abilities as to what she can feel around her.... just as I did with her mom too when she was a child.
I love the innocence and open mindedness that children and pets so perceive, and I just find it very interesting as well

Research has shown that the lunar cycles and solar activity do, indeed, have a direct effect on paranormal activity. There are many weather stations around the globe that monitor geometric and solar activity. This field is used by spiritual beings to "feed" - to gain energy. The increased energy they receive assists them in their communication and potential manifestation. The sun becomes another important element in this formula. It is the solar flare activity that is important to monitor. Solar flares are huge releases of energy. Research has shown, that periods of increased solar flare activity results in increased paranormal activity.
One to four days after an M or X class flare occurs, a slower cloud of solar material and magnetic fields reaches Earth, resulting in a geomagnetic storm. These storms cause variations in Earth's surface magnetic field. During a geomagnetic storm, a portion of the solar wind's energy is conveyed to the Earth's magnetic field, causing it to change rapidly in direction and intensity, supercharging the environment.
According to research, peak paranormal activity occurs during geomagnetic storm activity and periods when either an M or X class flare exists. The supercharging of the environment that occurs helps to energize the spiritual realm, providing them with the necessary energy to communicate and manifest.
The drawback is that while the environment is so energized, it will cause problems for any energy measurement equipment, such as tri-field and EMF meters, causing false positives. The x-ray flare and geomagnetic storm monitor on these paranormal sites are easy to use. There will be two status boxes - the solar x-ray status box on top and the geomagnetic field status box beneath it. The solar x-ray status box will read any of the following statuses: Normal, Active, M Class Flare, X Class Flare, and Mega Flare! The mega flare is the strongest activity and active is the least amount of activity.
When a flare is listed in the solar x-ray box, it means that charged particles will be bombarding the earth within the next 24 to 72 hours. A solar flare is caused by a sudden eruption of energy on the solar disk, lasting minutes to hours, from which radiation and particles are emitted. The geomagnetic field status box will read any of the following statuses: Quiet, Unsettled, or Storm! When the charged particles from a solar flare actually hit the earth, the geomagnetic field box will be red and read Storm! Status Unsettled means the geomagnetic field is still unstable from a storm.
An example of an ideal time to conduct paranormal investigations would be if the x-ray solar flare indicator reads X Class Flare and the geomagnetic storm monitor reads Storm. Any class of flare listed in the Solar X-ray box is ideal for investigations, when the geomagnetic field status box reads a storm is taking place. An X Class flare and the Mega flare are the strongest, but any class of solar flare will eventually cause a disruption in the geomagnetic field, leading to an increase in paranormal activity.

Earlville house investigation - March 29, 2007

March 29th, 2007 we were called upon to do a notoriously haunted privately owned home in Earlville, Illinois. This home has a very interesting history of previous fires, in which we are in the process of obtaining all of this information to add here with the actual documented articles on this tragedy. Sadly there were two family members and a dog that perished in the first fire in the 1930's. Evidence to follow here shortly as soon as it is obtained.
The new owners had a mysterious fire happen to them in December of 2006. Although thankfully there weren't any family members home at the time of this second suspicious fire in this same location, it was a complete loss that does remain a mystery and unsolved. The father of this house at present time was a total non-believer in anything paranormal until he witnessed the full blown apparition of a little girl in one of the upstairs bedrooms playing. Also he has had things such as tools disappear on him and strange noices and smells omitting there when he was alone in the home working on renovating the upstairs.
The mother of this household has always believed in ghosts and the paranormal she claims to have always felt a little girl present there at times. Other times there was the strong smell of alcohol when no one in that household ever did have any liquor there. The daughter that lived in this house was always fearful of her downstairs bedroom and also felt as though there was a young female presence there as well.
Every animal especially dogs that this family tried to bring into their hearts and lives in this house would be very fearful of different rooms in this home. Upon our investigation on this March, 29th evening, within the first 45 seconds of entering this home thru the kitchen we have an EVP caught on tape of a little girl calling out, "mommy".
When we were all in the downstairs daughters bedroom where this little girl supposedly perrished in the 1930's fire there was a space heater that was buzzing as if it was on in which there is no power now at all to this house. It was extremely cold in this room, and at one point something hit one of our investigator's feet and it was a toy ball that came out of nowhere but ended up at her feet.
Another EVP was obtained from this bedroom, again calling "mommy". After the ball incident and several pictures there are moving orbs captured. This little girls presence was definetly felt by all of the investigators there. On another tape recorder that was left running in the kitchen area we did pick up strange tapping noices as if it was a playful little girl poking at it wondering at her amazement what it could be, perhaps? Also there was a dog that did growl and wine on the tapes..... hense the dog that perished in the first fire we are positive of.
When heading up to the second floor one of our investigators got a burning sensation also as if from a "slap" to his hand. Another investigator felt as though a man was present down the hallway and just watching us. Pictures taken there will show alot of orbs in the different rooms. A shadow person is seen in two of the photos along a door entryway that is present in two pictures and then gone yet again.
Also at this time a series of three entrails form in the window down the hallway into a far room that this shadow person was captured on film. This entrail shiftshapes into three different patterns and no its not any glare or glass for that matter since ALL of the windows are out of this house. Pictures taken of the outside of this house after we were done with the inside part of the investigation revealed a person standing in the upstairs window staring down at us.
We have some EVPS that we got at this house that have yet to be loaded onto our site....... but this was a very interesting house to say the least. Also we are obtaining back documents relating to both fires and the documentation is painstaking, but will be so worthy once we do obtain it all........ thought you all would like to see what we happened to get at this house.
My people know that when I plaster myself to a wall and yell SHOOT that they all best do so. I love what we do, and we have such a great investigative team........... Kay.

EVP's are NOT EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been brought to our attention that another so called group has been spreading false rumors about THE RIPS to the tune that since we do happen to capture alot of EVP's on audio tape and ALWAYS have been able to do so....... that they feel we are opening up an evil portal during our investigations., and that we are truly evil people here in this group because of their accusations. Just because they themselves have never been able to get any EVP's. I find this statement totally appauling and totally FALSE here also.
What THE RIPS has been able to do for people that do call us and want us to go through their homes especially when they do feel the presence of one of their loved ones that has passed on... is to help them in any way to understand where they happen to be at now, and to channel them through for confirmation that they are alright now, in a much better place, and totally at peace with what plain that they are on. In that saying we try to help bring the loved ones left on this earth some closure and total understanding.
We have been able to for along time now and the people that we have done this for are totally indebted to us for having the capabilities of being able to do this for them. We are thanked so often and it does give us all joy and satisfaction that we can bring these people what they want to really hear in instances.
We are all God fearing people that are very highly religious but not all of us do believe in organized religion though. That does not deserve any statements that we do EVIL work here, not at all. So for those of you people who also communicate with the departed and do also capture EVP's during any investigations........... what is your take on these claims?? Kay

That would be a totally cool thing. However, I am not 100% convinced you would need this to hear from the other side.It is of my opinion that if you are a receptive person, you could/ would hear them maybe not in this modern conventional manner, but I am sure they would tell you what they needed to say. I myself, not sure what you would call it, But I have dreams. Sometimes it is my deceased realtives they will tell me things, show me things and each time those things happen. Other times, I call them my Dream Team, there are many women, all in white old Southern Dresses and they appear to me anytime I am very troubled ( in my dreams) and they will show me the outcomes. I have always been blessed in the dream world. Some of the dreams I am shown though... (WOW!!!) Wished I didn't see them. It most certainly has created controvery. Anyway, I do believe they attempt to communicate to us in a wide assortment of ways, we merely have to be receptive and opened minded enough to hear them. Thank You Kay for all your blogs.
